Welcome to Temitope Abass Foundation (TAF)

TEMITOPE ADENIKE SHONIBARE was born on 27th of December 1977. She started her elementary school in Lagos m and later attend the Tai Solarin College of Education for the National Certificate in Education (NCE) to study Agric. Education in Ogun State. She obtained her Bachelor of Education (BEd Primary Education) at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
She met and got married to Kabiru Abass in 2004 and became Temitope Adenike Shonibare-Abass. Later in 2004, she travelled to the United Kingdom (UK) with the husband.

In the House of God, Mrs Abass was a Sunday school teacher and lover of children. As an educator and the love for children, in September 2013, she established the Wisdom International School of Excellence (WISE) with the motto Brighter Future. She supported the husband to establish the Back to School programme which gives scholarship to children in vulnerable and conflict affected communities. Also, to promote literacy, 21st century skills and digital literacy established the Read Aloud, soft skills, gender roles reversal and digital literacy programme for children in vulnerable communities.

Her passion also led to the establishment of Wisdom International School of Excellence (WISE) 3 in Iwopin, Ogun Waterside LGA to promote quality education for the children and youths. She is equally on the Board of organizations such as Read Early to Advance Development in Nigeria (READING), Initiative for Education and Development ( IDEE), Making Future Female Scientist (MFFS) among other. She is blessed with children. She was diagnosed of sarcoma in 2019, died 3rd September and buried 10th September 2021.

The Temitope Abass Foundation (TAF) is therefore established to keep and sustain the passion of Mrs Temitope Abass.

My dear Temmy, I thank God for your life and the time we spent together. You have been a pillar and I know that you will continue to be a pillar. We had our first daughter by faith and we've done everything by Faith. As I promised you, Faith, Favour, Farrell and I will continue with your (our) passion and legacies. Good night darling Temmy.
