Temitope Abass Foundation (TAF) Objectives and Programmes
The objectives are:
1 Support women and children in health, economic, education, financial and digital literacy.
2 Advocate for the rights of women and children to medical care and quality education.
3 Create awareness on sarcoma and its management procedure.
4 Create awareness on Palsy and its management procedure.
The main programmes are:
1 Community Health Outreaches: this will include health awareness, Social and Behaviour Change Communication, support for Primary Health care, referral systems, advocacy and influencing for policy change and health system strengthening. Create awareness on Palsy and its management procedure. Special support will be provided for female treating sarcoma and other forms of cancer
2 Scholarship for vulnerable children: this will include Back to School programme, support for In-School and Out-of-School children. Special support will be provided for girls to access quality education in Wisdom International School of Excellence (WISE)
3 Girls & Women Rights support: this will include womens’ right education, reproductive health, peace education and peace building, reintegration of women back to the society, women empowerment, financial inclusion and literacy.
4 Female Teachers Capacity Development: this will include capacity assessment, capacity support through training, mentoring and coaching. Special support will be provided for female teachers to attend professional certifications, be accredited and trained in digital literacy. We would Initiate TemitopeAbass Teacher Prize for female teachers.
